AKtive Soles Performance Footwear holds the following regulations, standards, and expectations of participants for all events.
Please read our AKtive Soles Race Policies. If you have registered for one of our events it is understood that you’ve read and agree to abide by the following written below
1. NO REFUNDS
All event registration fees are final. Due to the significant upfront costs associated with putting on our events, AKtive Soles adheres to strict no-refund policy. Event registrations are non-transferrable to another individual and non-deferrable to another event.
Failure to comply with any rules of an individual event will result in an automatic DNF and/or removal from the event at the discretion of the race director.
3. ZERO TOLERANCE
Any participant who harasses, verbally or otherwise, our race staff, volunteers, and/or other participants will be automatically disqualified from the event and must submit a petition to register for any future events.
4. NO SHENANIGANS
Unless otherwise stated, all events are runner/walker only. NO dogs, strollers, bikes, rollerblades, or anything else that the race directors perceive as a course interference or a safety hazard. If you are seen on the course with any of the above, you will be disqualified and removed from the course. (Happy Runs are excluded from this.)
5. TIMELY CHECK IN & MANDATORY MEETINGS
Race Directors reserve the right to turn away any participants who do not check in on time or attend any mandatory race meeting.
6. NO SIGN UP CHANGES
Participants may not change the distance or duration of their event after registration has closed. Please communicate any changes to our race directors as soon as possible.
7. DO NOT ALTER COURSE MARKINGS
Participants may not move or alter any course markings. If a problem is noticed, please alert the race director or race staff as soon as possible.
Participant safety will always be the highest priority for AKtive Soles Events. Any decisions made by race directors regarding the safety of participants will be final.
